Hassle-free returns on eligible items. Please review the details below before initiating a return or exchange.

Overview

At BAPE Sweater, every piece is hand-authenticated and documented so you know exactly what you’re getting. If something isn’t right, eligible items can be returned for a refund or exchanged within our stated window. This policy applies to purchases made directly on bapesweater.com.

Return eligibility

  • Item must be in the same condition received: unworn, unwashed, unaltered, free of odors, and free of stains or pet hair.
  • All original tags, labels, authentication materials, accessories, dust bags, and packaging must be included.
  • Shoe boxes and specialty packaging are part of the product and must be returned undamaged inside an outer shipping carton.
  • Any item listed with explicit condition notes or graded photos must be returned in identical condition.

Return window

  • US orders: request a return within 14 days of delivery.
  • International orders: request a return within 14 days of delivery.
  • Once approved, ship the return within 5 calendar days of receiving your RMA (Return Authorization).

How to start a return

  1. Email [email protected] with your order number, item(s) you wish to return, and reason.
  2. We’ll reply with an RMA number and instructions. In some cases, we may provide a prepaid label for US returns.
  3. Pack your item securely and include the RMA inside the parcel and written on the outer carton.
  4. Ship using a trackable service and keep your receipt until the refund is completed.

Exchanges

Exchange requests are subject to availability at the time your return is processed. To secure an item immediately, place a new order and request a refund on your original purchase. Upon RMA approval, we can hold a requested exchange size for up to 5 days.

Refund timing & method

  • After your return is delivered to us, please allow 2–5 business days for inspection.
  • Approved refunds are issued to the original form of payment. Bank processing typically takes 3–10 business days.
  • Original shipping fees, duties, and taxes are non-refundable unless we made a mistake with your order.

Restocking & adjustments

  • No restocking fee for returns meeting all eligibility requirements.
  • Up to 10% restocking fee may apply for missing tags, minor packaging damage, or incomplete accessories.
  • Returns that arrive worn, washed, altered, or with strong odors may be refused and shipped back at your expense.

Return shipping

  • US customers: we can provide a prepaid label upon request; label cost (if used) will be deducted from your refund.
  • Customers may also use their own insured, trackable service. We are not responsible for lost or damaged parcels in transit to us.
  • Please do not ship without an RMA; unauthorized returns may be delayed or refused.

International returns

  • Mark the shipment as “Return—No Commercial Value” and include your RMA number to avoid unnecessary import fees.
  • Original and return shipping, duties, and taxes are non-refundable. You may be able to reclaim duties from your local customs authority.
  • Currency exchange differences and bank fees are not controlled by BAPE Sweater.

Damaged, incorrect, or missing items

  • Inspect your order upon delivery and contact us within 3 days if an item is defective, damaged, or incorrect.
  • Include photos of the packaging, shipping label, and the item (front, back, and issue close-up) so we can resolve it quickly.
  • If the carrier damages the parcel, keep all packaging for claim assessment.

Non-returnable items

  • Final sale items, clearance, and specially marked “final sale.”
  • Underwear, socks, face masks, swimwear, and intimate apparel.
  • Customized or altered items.
  • Gift cards.
  • Items sold “as-is” or “sample,” as described on the product page.

Order cancellations & changes

  • We can cancel or modify an order before it ships. Once shipped, please follow the return process.
  • Refused deliveries or unclaimed packages may incur return shipping and handling charges.

Price adjustments

If an item you purchased goes on sale within 7 days of your order date, contact us for a one-time price adjustment. Excludes limited releases, final sale, and promotional bundle pricing.

Packing your return

  • Place the item in its original plastic or dust bag, then into a sturdy outer carton.
  • Do not use the shoe box or product box as the outer shipping carton.
  • Remove or cover old labels and include your RMA number both inside and outside the package.

Authentication guarantee

Every BAPE item we sell is verified by our in-house team. If a product is ever proven inauthentic by a reputable third party, we will provide a prepaid return label and issue a full refund upon confirmation.

How long do refunds take?

Most refunds are completed within 3–10 business days after we approve your return and your bank finishes processing.

Can I exchange sizes?

Yes, pending availability. The fastest way is to purchase the correct size and return the original item for a refund.

Do you offer free returns?

We may provide a prepaid label for US returns. If used, the label cost is deducted from your refund unless the return is due to our error.
